False Friends is the new project by Miguel Pereira co-created with the Catalan choreographer Guillem Mont de Palol. Using the concept “false friends” as a starting point, words with similar spelling or pronunciation, but which sometimes have totally different meanings. Miguel and Guillem try to build a relation of false semantic friendship, positioning themselves in a space of contrast between what is similar and what is different, between them and reality itself, creating an absurd, delirious and fun speech using words, gesture and objects.
