The project “3rd FLOOR RIGHT BRUCE WILLIS” is a collaboration between Elizabete Francisca, Paula Frazão, Nicolaas Leach and Bruno Carvalho, finalists of the Collegue of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha, and the choreographer Miguel Pereira.
Trying to escape from the usual methodology in this type of artist “dialogue”, we search for a territory where one could question both the function of the design and its application to a performative universe.
Consequently, instead of working and thinking the objects applied as a complement to a possible performance, we decided to move its intervention to another kind of “scenario”: the private universe (the house) of the artist.
It’s from this premise, that the work is shown to the public, allowing them to assist, in loco, the revelation of a place that otherwise would be interdicted to their eyes, for its intimate nature.
For this effect and during 2 days the Miguel’s house will be open for everyone willing, to show it before and after the transformation suffered in the context of the proposal and the objectives defined by both parts. 
In 2008, and in a third part of the project, we will try to move the “real” scenery of the house into a public space (a gallery, for example) and to confront the eyes of the audience with a private performance of the artist, now acting in a “public” context.
