Vera Mantero’s new creation for Companhia Maior draws on an original text by Joana Bértholo to construct a performative space where the performers exist beyond any reductive interpretation of age. This opens up an open field that will be shaped by the choreographer’s methods of research and composition, intertwined with Joana Bértholo’s text, to engage with the personal, social, and cultural realities embodied by Companhia Maior.
