Spies – Apocalypse How by Sónia Baptista, based on a project by Filipa Francisco, 2026

Spies is a choreographic project by Filipa Francisco that spans almost three decades and is now in its third edition. It began with a unique concept: those who usually choreograph and those who usually perform swap roles, placing themselves under each other’s gaze or revisiting their personal histories of dance.

In this third edition, Sónia Baptista has been invited to create for the bodies of Miguel Pereira, Filipa Francisco, Francisco Camacho and Sílvia Real – figures who have shaped her own training and career in dance. This collaboration is both a tribute and a challenge.
