TCHARAAAM! (a show for everyone and no one) by Miguel Pereira, 2026
This show brings together three structures: a theatre company (ASTA), a dance company (BCN), directed by Miguel Pereira, associate artist of O Rumo do Fumo. We start from Nietzsche's concept of ‘Übermensch’ (Superman/Superwoman) to think about, investigate and question the limits and interpretations of our human condition, of what we are, of what constitutes us, beyond gender, ethnicity or other differentiating factors, at a time of accelerated transformation and transcendence of our existence.
The creative process will take place in artistic residencies between Covilhã and Santa Maria da Feira in 2026, with the premiere scheduled for 29 April 2026 at the Cine-teatro António Lamoso, in Santa Maria da Feira.
